Birthday purchase.
Did you know that Young Frankenstein is playing for a short while at the Orpheum? Well it is & I just bought tickets for Dan & I for Sunday the 14th of February (Valentine's Day!!) at 1:00pm. I should be able to stay awake for that!!!
This is a birthday surprise. Dan turns 55 on January 6th. We both love this movie. Pretty good tickets. Main Floor right side, row T seats 1 & 2. Can't wait!!

Buster
1) He eats his dog food when we eat supper.
2) He is afraid of garbage bags.
3) His trachea collapses when he gets very excited & he sounds like he's going to croak.
4) He likes to hump our outdoor cat. Yeah.... sicko.
5) He can sit & stay.
6) He tends to get compacted anal glands & gets very sick. We know how to express them.
7) He loves Connor & Grace. And all the kids (our kids).
8) He is gaga over Dan.
9) He crates very well.
10) He is completely housebroken... was when we got him.
11) He is estimated to be 6 years old & is mostly toy poodle.
12) He loves to be touched.
13) He does not know how to play with toys or else is just not interested.
14) He does not mind wearing clothes , sweaters, hats, bracelets etc.
15) Every groomer he has had said that he is very easy to handle.
16) He loves to chase chipmunks.
17) He is a good traveler as long as he can be near us ( not crated).
18) He has his own blanket.
19) He sleeps in between us.
20) Sometimes he goes to bed before we do.
21) He loves chicken & cheese.
22) He is definitely Dan's dog, but he is my best little buddy:)

The good & the bad.
The good: I have been eating school lunches. Now some of you may think that should be in the bad category, but do you remember shaky headed, monster-woman Delores' meals? At least the ones served now have some color to them and don't taste like yesterday/s pizza cardboard.
The bad: There isn't too much bad except that last night I ate 4 pieces of toast just before bed that were dripping with butter & slathered with homemade jelly.
Dan comes home tomorrow. I still haven't picked up the laundry off the living room floor that I folded in front of the TV last Saturday. I thought that I would wear it all in one week but I guess not. sigh.

I have had it.
Dan has been gone since Friday. I mean I saw him Friday morning before I left for school, but haven't seen him since. I don't think I have ever missed him this much before... ever!!! And he has been doing this hunting thing for over 30 years.
Guess I'll have to let him know, huh.

What I have eaten in the last 48 hours.
Friday morning: A bowl of honey roasted chex cereal with 1/2 cup milk.
Two cups of coffee.
______ Dan left for Grand Rapids for a week of hunting________
Friday noonish: Half of a chicken breast sandwich.
String cheese. Ice water.
Friday around 1pm: 1 & 1/2 cps. of my homemade latte.
Friday on my way home: The other 1/2 of my sandwich.
Friday for supper: A heated up chicken breast.
A can of black beans rinsed, poured into a glass dish with 2 Tbsp
of butter & garlic & pepper salt & heated up.
A helping of non- flavored taco chips.
Saturday morning: A repeat of Friday's breakfast.
Saturday Noon, afternoon, evening.... I don't remember if I ate. Oh yeah, Half a cheese sandwich with no mayo or butter. A piece of bread with a slice of cheese.
Saturday night: A Healthy Choice meal... half frozen.
Later Saturday night: 1/2 a package of club crackers & 3, 3 musketeers bars eaten like this: two crackers, one bite of musketeers bar... chew, two crackers, one bite of musketeers bar chew... repeat until gone.
Last night in bed.... two entire plates of taco chips. I got up after the first plate to get the second.
This morning: A repeat of Friday's breakfast + pepto bismol. Not feeling so hot.

More Meyer Girls in Vegas
I am just so glad that they get along so well together. I have so many things to be grateful for but the greatest is that our children have grown into fine young women, are happy, successful, self- sufficient ... and know how to dress like sluts. He he.
