News From Deep Within the Forest.

I may make regular, spontaneous installments of this post. I've been inspired by Pioneer Woman.

The News:

1) We have too much shit around this place. There are two locations in our "homestead" where this is apparent: the basement & the garage. I avoid being cognizant when I am in either of these locations & go into a deep torpor just before & while I am there.

I have no intentions of fixing this problem any time soon. As a result, coming out of said torpor can be a slow process.

2) I love snap peas. We are harvesting enough to cook for every super , put raw in a lunchtime sandwich & use raw to dip in ranch dressing for a mid- afternoon snack. Using the term " we" is a total & complete misrepresentation of the truth.

3. Buster has been having some trouble with his anal glands. I am the anal gland expresser of the household. Being willing to express anal glands while at the same time not willing to be in charge of snap peas or reducing the amount of shit around this place must be a symptom of some sort of personality disorder. I am currently not willing to waste time on figuring it out. I am afraid it might be a horiffic affliction & I cannot face it at this point in time.

ps. The Bonnie Hunt show today is a RIOT! Bonnie's Mom & Grand daughter were both on the same show. I would have to say that Bonnie is the ugly duckling of the three. Sorry Bonnie. But Your Mom & Grand daughter are so darn cute.

My scarf fetish has officially ended...in China.

I really don't know what got me started but I do know that I am finished with looking at, lusting for and buying scarves. And it has ended on a good note. These scarves arrived today. I've been patiently waiting for three weeks for them to appear in our mailbox. I ordered them off of E bay. They each cost .01 cents. That's right. You read that correctly. They were a penny a piece. Of course the shipping cost per scarf was $6.99. You do the math... not my strong suit.

They are gorgeous dolling, just gorgeous. I just hope that whoever lives in Room 305,3/F,Block A

Sleeping habits

It didn't take long for me to rearrange my sleeping habits. Up until 2 am and awake at 8 am. This won't last long with summer school coming up. But it has been fun.

Just what we need. I vote we put Andrea in charge. Then I could take another nap :) Just reading HER summer list makes me tired!!!!

My list so far:

Rest up for summer school.

Teach summer school.

Rest up for 2010/2011.

Teach 2010/ 2011.

I'll likely feel differently in a few... but now? I need some rest.
